meph: I am not sure of its value, but Brundle was obviously not thinking about its value cos he was giving it some stick, he is a very, very smooth driver and his control is up there with the very best.

It's nice to see such appreciation of Brundle here from several people. It is a great shame he found himself up against negative politics in his F1 career. He really is a great driver and all too often forgotten - except by those with a keen interest in Sports Car racing.

As for your comment here Ernie: you are the very salt of the earth. Your humility is genuine; and a lesson to us all. Although I will never meet you, it has been a pleasure knowing you through this modern medium. Thankyou.

Come to Bath Cosi, I'll sell you a PVR! (please note - a PVR has no relation to a TVR or any other sports car!)

Close but no cigar! Personal Video Recorder. Like your old Sky box but for Freeview/Freesat,

Are you missing your sky box yet by the way?

There is a recording facility within the kit at home Westy, but I just need someone to set it up for 6pm BST.

Missing Murdoch? - Not a bit. To hell with him. I feel much better for my decision!

Ah, shall I assume you have disappeared somewhere and are not currently at home?

Yes, I imagine the knowledge that you are no longer lining Murdoch's pockets must be quite refreshing. Presumably though, you must be missing the other formulas like DTM, WTC, GP2 etc?

I get plenty of chance to see these things elsewhere if I need to, although I do my best to avoid watching any Sky coverage now! (I certainly don't miss it at home).

? Eh? I didn't mean to boast Westy. Not sure how it looks like that either, but I apologise if it did!

Don't apologise old chap, I'm just being an arse. Clearly my attempt at jesting and envy didn't work!

Being away from home a lot also has its drawbacks and I can assure you it is not all enviable; although
I suppose I must have made the choice that it's more fun in the longer run, since I still choose to do it! :)
