This article forms a direct challenge to the never ending search for both theoretcial particles and theorectical goals at anfield.

Our erstwhile colleague and hammerheaded mate RHC has long postulated a direct link between the collider CERN and LFC's fortunes. However those skeptics amongst us may not necessarally belived in some god particle suddenly making LFC deliver yet it seems Glen Johnson does firmly beleive in some effect of the long postulated higg's field being understood finally will allow the likes of andy carroll (and others) to stop bloody hitting the post.

What i would like to know is..... are we only day away from this breakthrough, or is it weeks, months or future seasons

You spelt Hammerhead with a 'h' - you're going to be in trouble <ok>

until Sky has a look we all need to be skeptics just like the scientists at CERN. it's been theorised as a H but the reality could be different......

I'm going to allow this as he wasn't talking about The Hammerhead <yikes> in the first person. He actually described me as being "hammerheaded", so the boy remained dormant.

I didn't see anything about science in the Johnson article. In answer to your direct question, the effective functioning of the LHC is a positive aid to LFC. The categoric Higgs identification may be up to 12 months off. When it happens, it'll be a quadruple year <ok>

All I want to know is...what does it mean for 1405 Sunday afternoon? <ok>

It's shut down at the moment. It has been colliding lead ions for a month, but is going back to proton-proton collisions. Fear not. The press announcement made yesterday at CERN will ensure it's 3 points again this weekend <ok>

Perhaps we can utilize quantum mechanics to our advantage and the same shot could hit the post and go in the sodding net at the same time.
Let's see the FA sort that one out.

sure? 12 months sounds AWFULLY like say next year will be our year though.... I make the point that glen is seeking the elusive kenny boson which seems to be theorised but never is seen (more than 2 goals for liverpool) while CRN seeks the equally elusive quarry that binds matter together.

An interesting theory. I'll look mforward to the Villa game. Stranger things have happened <ok>

There's a difference between THAT particular phrase and 'The Quadruple'

i may be slightly paraphrasing there but after all this is a artilce solely intedned to compare the elusive higg's boson with the elusive goals that would be required for a quardruple.

i do actually have some evidence here of refs awarding goals for shwos that went wide so perhaps that proves the quantum mechanics that are at play and thus would have saved 10billion of meny that CERN cost.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xKuLtLXl7FI

lesson? aim for the net support then the ref can award a goal kick.....
