http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-essex-37342625 We had him on loan ( 3 matches ), in 2014. He's obviously the sort of defender who shows a lot of 'bottle' ! ------ unlike the judge who has freed him and changed his sentence to one suspended for 18 months. WHY ? Could it be because the thug is a footballer - and qualifies for special treatment ? Looking at his previous criminal record, I can see what 'special treatment' that Inniss likes to dish out ! He has been arrested on 4 occasions. Each time the severity of his offences has increased - from public order offence to drunk & disorderly behaviour, to assault - to resisting police - now to smashing a bottle over his victim's head - for which he got 14 weeks in jail ( no - not 14 years ! ) ---- and he'd be out in just 7 weeks ( if he could behave himself ). What sort of deterrent is that ? It's no wonder that criminals repeat their offences - especially drunken yobs - if there is no real punishment - and 'elite' members of our society are given special treatment.
