Among the many messages of joy, jubilation and congratulations there were one or two people expressing their disdain for Frazier Campbell.
This is surely a case of unrequited love on their part I would suggest because there is a lot of bile in a lover scorned if they need to hold on to such bitterness.
One of those calendar fob sayings springs to mind, “Hatred will eat into your soul and destroy you before you die”
If you consider the service Frazier gave to City while he played for the team, as a loan player from Man U, he gave the team all that was expected of him. After the season finished he said he wanted to force his way back into the Utd team and for a while he did. He has always been a Utd fan and has always wanted to play for them .Of course with the team they have and had he was going to be a trade off to some place for somebody. I wonder does he hold the same bitterness towards Utd that some Hull fans have for him, I doubt it. I like the bloke because whoever he plays for he does his best. The fact that he chose, and chooses to do his best for some team other than Hull City seems to me to be a matter of self determination. For the life of me I cannot fathom how he can be hated and abused for using a freedom of choice.

He's not hated for choosing another club. He's hated for the manner in which he did it, and then for the manner of his celebration when he scored for Sunderland. Contrast the reception he gets with the one Michael Turner gets, and contrast Turner running over to us to celebrate his Sunderland goal at the SOL then realising what he was doing and being apologetic for it.

I agree, some say it was down to his father stinging us along until nearly the window had shut, and then us having to find a replacement. At the end of the day FC has the last say, so he in my eyes was responsible,

I,ll go with that. in my household Campell was very much loved, When he went to Spurs i fully understood the lad had ambitions and was pleased for him. But after that and the whole transfer messing us around was enough! and if it had stayed 1-0 on Saturday i would have hunted him down and killed him <devil> (Please dont take that last part to serious)
