I think his days are numbered at LC now he´s a 30 something & has been sent out on loan. I expect NP, should we go up, to want prem & younger players next season & he´ll be finding it hard to get in the starting XI this season especially if we remain in the top 6 for the rest of the season & really push for promotion.

Good idea to loan them to teams not around us, makes sense.

Wellens could still have a big part to play. Especially when we are winning and need to play games out. His experience could be vital

Sven did it with Matt Oakley and I remember countless times Oakley's experience saved us

The interesting think about this is that Pearson clearly has different plans for Wellens and Beckford. Wellens has simply been sent out to get fit without affecting Leicester's promotion campaign. I can only assume that he has allowed Beckford to join a team near the top in the hope they will make his signing permanent in January.

Sorry Beckford fans, I think the only way you'll see him in a Leicester shirt again is if Huddersfield don't want/can't afford him.

Good luck to Wellens. I see Ipswich took Reo Coker on loan today. decent player at this level
