From the article: Sunderland turned up their noses at it last season but the new regime announced on Tuesday they will stream all matches not being shown live on Sky to overseas subscribers via their official website next season.
So, presumably the local Clubs and Pubs won't get done for screening hooky programmes as long as they are OUR Games. No doubt the Overseas Companies that are currently sending UK games back will add this to their menu. Only SAFC can claim copywrite and as the game will only be of interest here in Sunderland (and wherever the opposition comes from), the Club are hardly going to start prosecuting local Clubs themselves, (I hope). Pity it's just the home games though.
