come 7pm on Saturday 1st December will know what lies ahead for our Sunday game!
On paper we have 2 games v 2 teams at the bottom along with us … along with us? yes we are currently 16th as the bottom team of the middle 8 .
A bad result for us and a good one for Millwall and Wigan will see us beyond the safe line on W-S-Mare beach where the sand changes to grey with brown streaks and lug worms abound … and you gradually become a victim of the mud as it creeps up devouring your ankles -- your shins - your knee's - then it o' bo****** ….
at the mo, well it is a step or 2 in front of us ………………. 4pm on SUNDAY WE DONT WANT TO BE 20TH!!!!!!!!

well stopped to have look at where the low tide mark might be ?
PNE, Sheff W and Wigan only immediate dangers on Saturday as we have avoided a 5 game run!
PNE still on a roll v Brum who are home … looks to be a draw? but brum might make home adv pay a draw would suit us?!
Sheff W away to BBurn who seem to be out of sorts D W D L L but WED has first win in 5 D1 L3
Wigan away, same form as Sheff W has a derby v Bolton so could be a draw? But BOLTON has gone into free fall almost top to bottom!
so Wigan is our worse danger and position 17th

Beat Millwall and we MIGHT be looking at 3 points from the playoffs.

unlikely, even if we do, fixtures dictate...
FLOREST [31 pts ] have IPSWICH
    DERBY [ 31 ] have Swansea [ 26 ],
    VILA [ 28 ] have MIDDS away
    QPR [ 28 ] have Hull
    BRUM [ 27 ] have PNE
    STOKE [ 26 ]have Reading
    BBURN [ 26 ]have SHEFF W
We can advance up but it will take at least 3 wins more with some results going for us! game 23 might be the opportunity?!

I’m just pissed off with the constant negativity. Actually it’s not too bad on here to be fair. OTIB however goes into meltdown when we lose - so much so that I hardly go on there now. I’m so fed up with all the ‘Johnson Out’ rubbish - which started as soon as he was signed - and still simmers away over there even if we win. I just can’t be bothered with it.

The trouble is bcfcredandwhite that Johnson has polarised fans ever since he arrived like nothing I've ever experienced in nearly 50 years of supporting the club, and in my humble opinion he was the wrong appointment at the time, and he still is.

For me, it's not who he is, or who his father is, or anything to do with his playing career, I simply don't like/rate the bloke as our Manager and I suspect there are thousands like me from what you've said about OTIB which by the way I don't use and have never visited.

Managers, owners, Chairmen, and players all come and go. The only constant is the club itself which I will always support.

I don't have to like the manager or the owner.

Yeah happy with that win but I do feel that it is delaying the inevitable in some ways.

It's weird as usually I'm a 'happy clapper' as they say, but even if we were to beat Millwall and by some weird logic go 3 points from the play offs, I'd still feel worried. Sometimes the table does lie and as it stands we are not a very good team. Whether that form continues or not I'm unsure but it does feel like we're due a spanking from a good team at some point soon.

I'm with Rob, I have been Pro LJ, even though like many i didn't feel he was the right appointment at the time as he lacked the experience, but I feel as flat about this season as I can ever remember.

To be honest I used to bang on about LJ and I have never rated him at all as our head coach, much to my honest annoyance I found myself at loggerheads and arguing on here with my own fellow supporters more than 'gasheads', my interest in following the team suffered, my enthusiasm for participating on here dwindled even to the fact I ended my mod activities.

What changed my direction was the amount of insults and derision being fired at LJ and outside of football he is a nice normal family man and deserves that recognition, I packed it in, the club had some top performances and ended up safe, I was beginning to enjoy my football again and we are where we are.

I have always insisted it's the club I support and that remains but everyone is allowed an opinion and I for one want to stay away from personality, judge on performance, debate with respect and continue to enjoy a happy, peaceful life.

Your comment about 'haters and Paul Lambert' tell a different story.

Of what I watched last nice, was some nice football at times by our players but also full of mistakes and dire at the back...Both keepers looked dreadful.
As for LJ, he's not found or put together a team that just clicks..We lack fire power and look suspect at the back..I think he will get until the end of the season to get it right, but if it turns into a relegation battle, it could be his final roll of the dice...

Yes you are right RP - a moment of weakness after a beer. Guilty as charged.
I do give OTIB a wide berth after a defeat though.

mood swings ….. it is amazing how peeps moods / attitudes swing around in the wind …. Just got up to date with all the posts since 4am when I went to bed and it is quite interesting not going to dissect every bit but
there are, obviously the for and against LJ, the for are pretty simple to interpret there is a manager they want to see him get on with the job and not "untoward" [ there was a few other words I could use like nasty about him ] the against's …. well there is quite a bit of vitriol there … irrespective of results and some verge, and I do say verge on the edge of "dislike" [avoided saying hate] irrespective of the result.
Results.. what diverse opinions especially from those made in the past couple of seasons … either camp, for or against, used to comment such like " we need to grind out a result, any point is worth it no matter how we got it etc etc now it seems it is LJ 's fault, the team were crap, or another nail, or we only played a crap team and we were as crap as they were etc etc
We concede a goal from a deflection it is "we lost 3 points because of" our luck is out, ref against us, shouldn't have …. etc
Our LUCK CHANGES and we get a deflection and in a mad 8 mins or so the game goes mad and we come out in front... but we played better than they in so much as the score stayed in our favour till the 90 +7 or whatever .. and still amongst the posts is the disquiet of we didn't deserve to win we were crap etc etc..
IF you play a crap team often you get sucked into their way .. trying to compensate for the poor, unreadable style they play … the reason they are worse than us! We have to adopt to compensate it ………
WE WON … COYR lets try and keep the ball running …..
