That would probably be our highest position since '92/'93. Just shows how far we've come. Any kind of a win tomorrow would be fantastic. Bring it on.
Indeed. But more importantly, everyone below us who played today lost or drew. If we were to win tomorrow we'd be 7 points clear of the drop zone, with the bottom 3 already adrift. Not that I believe that we are in for a relegation battle, but it's good that some teams are looking like booking their championship places.
That made me chuckle aaaRrgghh I had exactly the same thought. Imagine going above Liverpool spurs and arsenal.
Good results for us today if we can get some points tomorrow . Or is just too early to be looking at other peoples results..hmm
Probably a little early to be looking at other results but it's encouraging knowing there are a few teams that already look like potential relegation candidates. A few that we didn't expect like bolton, WBA and fulham. Throw in wolves, wigan, norwich and swansea, our chances of surviving are just a little higher. If only we played Bolton and wigan with our proper team....
Far too early to be talking about who is in the relegation zone etc!! We'll have a far better idea come December. Still....would be lovely to put a bit of daylight between us and some of the others!!
It will only matter in May 2012 and I had a dream we would be eighth .. still sticking to that (even with new team) and looking forward to watching match on laptop in France. Regards to all 606's ... I wet my pants yesterday as got caught short and then got leg caught in car door so have day off to relax and chill before we stuff the Austin Allegros. Just watched Wolves highlights we were very good not that Wolves had off day we are simply better and more relaxed
