A demonstration if ever there was one that C*ty don't belong in the Championship <laugh>

None of the 82ers have yet explained how it's possible to spend £41 million+ on a team and still get so comprehensively redlegated. It simply beggars belief.

It must go down as a minor miracle, it's almost physically impossible. What were they signing - gold plated unicorns with three legs?

When you think of the starving, deprived, uneducated little children in the world, and I'm talking about Shiny of course, it's practically immoral that that quantity of money can be pissed away on such a total shambles.

The fact is that the last couple of years have been an object lesson in exactly how not to run a football club. And yet the foaming-at-the-mouth, swivel-eyed, self-deluding and ever-reducing number of ****wits that glumly traipse down to their red tin boxes every other week have the bare-faced effrontery to take the piss out of us, a club clearly (to everyone apart from the bewildered and bile-filled 82ers) on the up.

You have to laugh at them. They're like a drunk tramp that's just shat himself, flailing around and blaming everyone else for the appalling state he finds himself in.

I can't believe we've been so restrained. A couple of seasons ago they were merrily ****ing themselves off with excitement when we went down. Our reaction has been rather more circumspect, content as we are with the progress we're making, as their club folds in on itself like a collapsing brown dwarf. What do you get when that happens (forgive me for coming over all Prof. Brian Cox here), you get a black hole - an area of nothing that no light escapes from. And that's what their club is - a big black hole of nothing. It sucks up money, hope, aspiration and more money.

I do fear for the future. That fear is principally that the world will run out of surgical thread for me to sew up my sides as they will split so often from uncontrolled laughter watching their pitiful outfit struggle with FFP rules, League 1, the planning appeals process and their increasing capacity for self-delusion.

The dictionary entry for the phrase 'poor judgment' should be: 'Bristol City 1982 (Guernsey) Ltd'. It's rife from the top to the bottom of that travesty. That owner of theirs for example; he sure knows how to make money from financial services (although I'm really beginning to wonder whether Peter Hargreaves is actually the real powerhouse behind that particular arrangement, but that's another story) but **** me, he hasn't a Scooby Doo about sport, does he? Basically, he's handed the whole shebang over to his dimwit son the way I might sort my kid out with a paper round. Pantsdown Jnr may as well be floating over the Marianas Trench he's so far out of his depth - Keith Dawe must cry himself to sleep every night.

The deluded Teds will chirp up with 'blah blah basement division etc. etc.', but I can tell you for free that I'd rather be exactly where our club is right now than trapped in the vicious downward spiral that their shambolic outfit is. No doubt about it. Their capacity to hoover up the **** served to them by the puppeteers that run 82 is breathtaking - each one of them must contain more ordure than the average slurry pit.

Anyhow, dear Gashead friends - we're safe, they're down and to paraphrase a recently interred mad old woman 'Rejoice, Rejoice, Rejoice!'

    UTG!

We're a progress in the making <laugh> that was good, sacking 6 managers in so many years.

As for the 98, you took 100 to a match where you had the chance of being right up near the play offs <ok>

Clearly the good times are back for the blue few, you have Accrington Stanley today, in front of a measly 5,000 crowd whilst you're stuck behind teams like Northampton and Fleetwood..

How would you like us to respond to this Bluebumboy? Whatever way you will accuse us of biting or ignore it and we are running away??

I only have one question to that.

Who wrote it you, CoR or CJS or are you all three the same person, like P49 and restocking <whistle>

I am also disappointed in you, that you have started another banter thread when there is already a thread on this board.

I am in the process now of writing to Paul Weller he is after all the Modfather so he can ban this sort of behaviour, from a well respected wall. Where the 4 members can talk to each other freely without the need for banter.

just to point out, we took more than 100 to bradford and even if it was 100, its still more 98 ;) so for a team 2 divisons below you, we still took more away to the same area of the country :)

as for 5000 today? take a look later at the attendance and feel free to say how stupid you are <laugh> <ok>

    98!!!!!

What an absolute joke. Even Morecambe take more away than that.

Just as well they didn't go in fancy dress as planned, what an embarassment that would have been, a few super heroes and jungle animals dotted around in a massive stand.

    Hilarious.

    Good afternoon gents.

Basically I came back from the pub last night after a few sherberts, put Frankie Boyle's 'Last days of Sodom' DVD on and then realised that I've been far too nice to the Teds over recent weeks, especially after their financially record-breaking relegation.

So I thought I'd set the record straight.

Not bad considering I'd drunk six pints. I'm quite proud of it, and it does, of course, contain a considerable amount of truth.

I'm amused that the better representatives of our red rivals can still only come up with 'are you CJS, CoR etc.' or 'you'll only get 5k today' because there is no answer to the main points in my diatribe. There's no answer 'cos it's all true!

So Gasheads and other associated bumders - have a loverly afternoon. I'm off down the A38 to Horfield to thank JW for all he's done this year. I'm sure we'll reconvene later.

    Pip pip and UTG!

Losing it you say "I could not possibly comment"

Lost it definately if you ever had it Rodders

Rodders you are slightly obsessed with me for some particular reason,we are however not the same person although it would be a fabulous wind up if we were. air_kiss.gif

If it costs around £100m to build a stadium for under £41m you could have refurbed Ashton Gate and still had enough to build a decent team.

Steve Lansdown has poured his heart soul and serious amounts of his hard earned accumulated wealth into Bristol City,to be fair he almost took you to the promised land via the playoffs had he acheived that it would have been a fantastic result, unfortunately it failed.

I am not sure that many City fans at a grassroots level appreciate the sacrifices he has made in pursuit of his dream of taking City to the premiership and establishing them as one of the main clubs.

I am sure that hindsight is a wonderful thing.Do you think that if he knew the outcome of how much it costs to acheive success would he do it all again or in fact will he continue to?

100 at bradford, your biggest game of the season, and one of the "bigger" clubs in your dire league, and you only take 100?

I apologise to Bluebaldee for saying you are the same as CoR.
I actually like you BB could see myself having a pint and laugh with you. I can't believe I tagged you into such a weirdo as CoR. He thinks I'm fascinated with him when Im actually quite worried that he is the sort of person that turns up at your house peering through the window and licking it. I have tried ignoring the boring halfwit, and made the fatal mistake of mentioning him again.<doh>

Once again Bluebaldee I apoligise for accusing you being the same as him/her <ok>

Pissed but truthful Lan, reread it when sober and it all rings true! <ale> <ok> And it was 7,600 at the rugby ground, thank you so much. God we were **** mind you. A far cry from the team that did over Rotherham, Exeter, Port Vale, Fleetwood etc etc. But the fact is we did do those teams over and that's why we have stayed up comfortably, rather than be relegated.

Tone, whenever I'm over your neck of the woods it would be a pleasure to go for a beverage. Despite my rants against C*ty, I probably have more red supporting friends than blue - being schooled in Clifton and living in Southville for 10 years is probably the reason why. <ok>
