    Good plan with the pudding idea. Can't beat a bit of flaming alcohol drenched christmas pudding. Alcohol and food, it's what Christmas is all about.

    I honestly think it should be illegal to even consider Christmas before December. My girlfriend even has my present already <yikes>

    But speaking of which, shush now eh <whistle> It's illegal ;)

    He has his strengths but also his weaknesses. He's a decent player I reckon but as you say not a top 8 player yet. I'd be inclined to go for Pieters or Cissokho in January/summer and switch Santon to RB

    <laugh> it is too much! There is a christmas tree up in my local weatherspoons which has been there since September promoting there christmas menu!

    That's what I would do. For me, in January we will need three new players. Cissokho/Pieters, a back up centre back and a new striker (if that striker is right for the club, no panic buying!)

    Yeah seen this too. My local Asda has had Xmas stuff out for a few weeks. In all honesty I've started my Xmas shopping too because I've got **** loads to buy for, if I wait til December I'll be skint for the month.

    Having already qualified for next January's African Nations Cup finals, Senegal completed their fixtures with a 2-0 victory over a pointless Mauritius at the weekend.

    However the Lions of Teranga won without the assistance of Magpies striker Demba Ba, who linked up with his international colleagues but was reportedly injured.

    Friday's training session coverage by the Senegal FA reported that Ba was unable to feature due to a knee problem, while the report on another session 24 hours later stated that, "Demba Ba, still injured, did not participate".

    It's yet to be confirmed how serious Ba's condition is and whether it's a new injury or a recurrence of previous problems with his left knee.
