Supposedly we will know in just under 90 minutes who the new man is to take us to the promised land, all reports seem to think that it will be Martin Mad Dog Allen, I am fine with this, though he does have a problem with a commitment, but is this all a smokescreen and when the smoke clears will be there someone unexpected sitting with Scally? Just got a feeling that this appointment has a final sting in the tail!
Very much of the same opinion, doesn't feel very 'Gills-like' for everyone to have known this far in advance and Mr. Scally doesn't seem the type to double back on himself and appoint Allen. Would be amazed if we hadn't made some desperate last minute calls to some speculative candidates in a hit and hope style. But hey what do I know? Im probably reading into it too much and by 4.30 this afternoon there will be a fair portion of egg on my face.
I am a bit flat about it all. A two month wait for Martin Allen when he could have been announced several weeks ago if he was the first choice. My own interpretation is that he was fourth or fifth in line.

My hope is - Allen manager (we all know this already!) Constantine Coach (bringing his own physio) Mcleod signed.
Oh well I was wrong, Martin Allen is it is then, Will certainly make a change to have a passionate manager on the bench, if he stays the distance I think we could be there of thereabouts, now just a couple of players required, LB, CB, pacey wingers and a 30 A season goal scorer please.
