A complete diamond of a man. Was genuinely taken aback by his kindness and friendliness when I interviewed him for my book (and pretty much everyone I interviewed was kind and friendly). A legend on and off the pitch.

Yes, good player. Always thought he was a bit overshadowed by the glory boys, Chillo, Waggy and Butler.

I suspect he had more assists in creating goals than any other player in the League in the mid-late '60s. Not to mention his impressive 1:3 goal/game played career record. Creative midfield genius in my eyes.

I wonder how many HCAFC players recent and current we'll be referring to as legends when they're 80 .... I say we, I mean you, as I won't be here...
