8 games left but these are going to leave us with no fingernails to chew. 5 games against teams around us and if we lose to Wolves I fear that both the confidence will be low but Mike might push the panic button.

In the next 2 weeks the boys need to get geared up and Pardew needs to be hit with some reality that the following players are not good enough:

Lovenkrands - What does he bring excpet Anger to the fans?
Ameobi - Only good against the Mackems
Campbell - Has cost us valuable points and today was pathetic AGAIN
Nolan - Great leader and gets you goals but what else does he give. He is slow, doesn't create and if was not captain maybe he would have been dropped a few times this season.

I still think we will stay up as we have the quality but next two games need to be treated as cup finals. Nervy times ahead.

Completely agree. Get Guthrie and Barton back in the middle please and maybe push Nolan up further behind Best(if fit) in the next match.

Lover was again useless and non-existent again. Get rid in the summer please. Take any money!
Same with Strolla. Inconsistent, injury-prone and slow.
Get rid of Kuqi and Sol. One is a old mercenary and past it superstar and one is a Championship target-man.

Agree with Nolan aswell, apart from his experience, leadership and goals he's quite slow compared to our other CM's and isn't as creative or combative as Tiote/Barton/Guthrie.

Without Tiote = Nolan is CC standard.

Lover, Shola and Campbell I agree are not proving to be anywhere near good enough to be in the squad.

Nolan though does score valuable goals from midfield, something nobody else has done for us in recent seasons. I think he should be cut a bit more slack, he is contributing to the team. We don't need two Tiote's in central midfield.

Tiote out for 2 games, Barton and Guthrie in the middle, Jonas on the right and Ferguson on the left.

Yeah, but only because 4 of our strikers are ****. Maybe throw Airey in at the deep end. Nolan dropped possibly.

42 points would keep us up unfortunately I have zero faith in Partridge as manager, we have a despicable owner and I actually feel sorry for the players. I think generally although some players are substandard we have a good attitude and I wont blame the decent players if they leave at the end of the season. We are stuck with NUFC for life regardless the players don't have to work for cheapskates tho!!

He's slow, not the best tackler, not the best passer, generally quite a passenger at CM. Good goalscorer but that's it. Without Tiote he'd be a complete passenger.

Pardew is getting unfairly treated by some fans on here. Yes he makes bad calls but at the end of the day it is down to the players to perform on the pitch. Why are some people saying we will go down? Look at Villa, Blackburn, Blackpool and Birmingham, they are on freefall and have a tough run in during the last games of the season. Stay positive FFS

Pardew has got experience at saving clubs in this position so Yeah it is not all doom and gloom
Keep you head held up high.
The season aint over yet and there is many teams down there below you in a worse position
