Should we be looking for 4/5 wins at home? One away win against West Brom. That would give us 29 points. Throw in a scambled draw or two, or am i being greedy??
I’d say a minimum of 23 pts: home wins v Palace, Stoke and Fulham (ideally). I will be very happy with this return. But, if we can achieve these three crucial wins, surely it must be possible to prise the odd point or two from other games. 25 pts would be an ideal platform for part 2.
I see 6 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss there. Maybe 5 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss if we get a ****ty ref at home to Liverpool.
I would like to see us pick up 10 points from those games, butt seriously with our current squad & injuries & nobody who can score a goal I think we will be lucky to pick up more than 5. I predict : Palace - draw Liverpool - lose Arsenal - lose Swansea - lose or possible draw Stoke - draw may nick a win West Brom - lose or possibly draw Man Utd - lose Fulham - draw Best I can see would be 7
Not really Roger I simply don't see everything through black, amber & rose tinted specs. I haven't seen anything to suggest our current team is likely to spring any surprise results from the next 8 games
I think it's a fairly realistic expectation you have, but as we've done well so far at home against the clubs around us, so I'm banking on that continuing v CP, Stoke and Fulham. The next match will be far from easy v CP. Without getting too far ahead, I note that we go to Palace and Norwich in January. If (and it's a big IF) we get December right, we have a huge opportunity of nearly completing our objectives by the end of January. Sounds too good to be true.
It does all hinge on us scoring some goals doesnt it. Lets hope Sagbo does start banging them in but Hudd Livermore etc really need to step up too.
I'd say a maximum of 16 but thats highly unlikely. We'll probably lose all the 'big games' and slip up in some of the ones we should be looking to win. So realistically i'll go for 3 wins, 2 draws and 3 losses and i'll be very happy. Could easily be worse mind. Football eh? Bloody Hell.
Fooking hell, ok Mister Needy, although I thought it was obvious, you plastic, Hull v Palace Win 2 - 0 Hull v Liverpool Win 2 - 1 or if we get a ****ty ref Draw 2 - 2 Arsenal v Hull Draw 2 - 2 Swansea v Hull Win 0 - 3 Hull v Stoke Win 3 - 1 West Brom v Hull Win 1 - 2 Hull v Man Utd Lose - 1 - 2 (controversially to a ****ty reffing decision) Hull v Fulham Win 3 - 1 Feel free to lob yer giro on those bad boys, you can thank me later.
Yes, agree with that. Steve Bruce, wisely said you need 10 wins to stay in this league. 3 wins before half time would put us on 7 wins in total and within touching distance. Anything more would be superb.
