7 years ago today Jermaine easters equaliser gained paul lamberts Wycombe a 1-1 draw with premier league champions Chelsea in the carling up semi finals

I remember watching this game and the sheer marvel of a full adams park behind Wycombe wanderers! it was one of the times where the whole town got behind our little football team to get a result against the giants. it may not be as famous as our FA cup run (and fair enough) but it should not be forgotten what an excellent run that was by the team

quite how the team under Gorman and the 2 under lambert (especially this one) didn't win promotion is baffling! looking back at that, how much could we do with tommy mooney right now!!!

Thanks for that Mike. Unfortunately you could be right and we could be playing against Oxford City again. We were bloody good those days.
