Anyone think 7 points will be enough for us to stay up? Out of all the teams down amongst the rough, we have a far better goal difference so level on points will be a big plus for us. A point or 2 from the next 3 games, Scum, Everton and Villa. 2 home wins against Soton and Stoke, cant go to Spurs last game needing a point or more. Even the next 3 games, a bonus win will be massive. Today gives hope, but hope can be a dangerous thing.
Where will we get 7 points ?, the scum(our team) vs the scum next week, an unexperienced manager AGAIN and a bunch of tossers who just throw games away, plus the worst defence in 30 years, just to depress even more today I bet Wigan win, and this is after doing nothing in the transfer market in the 6 seasons since we got back up. I bet there will be 10,000 less here next season. And what happened to Graham?.
If we beat Villa & Stoke we stay up. I fancy we draw at Villa, beat Stoke, and also beat Southampton, that'd be enough IMO. Think we'll get 1 off Everton, I will not say a word about next week!
<unfuckingbelievablesmiley> I have eased off on my money on our team lately. But will be putting my money where my mouth is on beating Villa, Stoke and S'hampton. I will always back us to beat the Mugs no matter what, but more with based on my heart than my head. If we play like we did first half today, we will get our luck to change round in our favour.
One thing in our favour is that we will only get fitter as the season draws to a close .. I believe better fitness will have a big influence on our performances as long as we don't pick up any more injuries. It's been a sobering day results wise
Funny how this monty character only appears when he has something negative or derogatory to say about SAFC..
good point, you could see the extra bit of determination today, fitness levels have certainly been improved on
Definitely get 7 imo. 6 points from Stoke and Southampton, and the odd draw here and there, we'll probably end up with an extra 8 or 9 imo
Just done the predictor thingy again : Got us finishing 15th on 38 points, so yes, wigan, qpr and reading for the drop still and thats without stoke picking up another point. For anybody who hasnt had a go : http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/predictor/default.stm
7 points will be enough imo as I don't see Wigan getting more than 7 pts and definitely don't see stoke getting more than 4, but what will be will be, I just wish this awful season was over one way or the other
