64 = The age of the two players weve signed put together :(

0 = How much weve spent on them :(

0/100 = How bad we are at transfer dealings :(

Brown would have been useful 2/3 seasons ago, he's getting on now, 1 year deal aswell, he'll be another Micheal Doyle imo, woulda prefered to see a 24 year old rising star join us from a half decent team, that only seems to happen to Leeds wen I play with them on FIFA

And this is a problem because...?

Why is this a bad thing?

So what you're saying is we are incredibly good at transfer dealings. It's not like you to say something like that

He would rather we signed a 22 year old with no experience (so exactly like the 2 CMs we already had) for £5m. Doesn't matter how good they are or if we actually need them.

And that my friend is your problem, this is the real world not Cyber world. Is this where your "diploma" comes from?

He maybe 34, but let's give him a chance & judge him on how he plays. A colleague here reckons he's quite good. So let's see.

His age is irrelevant. Graham Alexander was one of the best midfielders in the PL at 38.
If by some miracle we'd just signed Xavi would you be saying he's too old at 34?

    oh another moaner.....yawn!
Brown signing is nothing but good news, with a choice of Howson, Clayton and Nunez in the centre, who are young a full of running we must surley only looking at positives. Another DM as cover, we will be set up for the season.
Stockdale seems like it might happen, the lad from Villa looking likely too and maybe a centre back although Lees could be our big break through player this season. Kissa back up and fit, maybe even Bessone 100% and playing to his potential we are not far away. We can change systems, score goals and now have someone with the knowhow to get stuck in when we need. I think the change of keeper can only be a good thing and if our new one puts some confidance in our defenders, who are as inviduals decent players.

I'm starting to look forward to it, Adiy White, Zac Thompson are other who are exciting prospects and could break through in pre-season. Big signings dont always work out, look at Torres last season for Chelski, and one of a great number of big signings who never worked out us, Brolin.
We have actually a fairly large squad with some exciting talent already. considering Brown was chased by Celtic a few weeks ago, I think it can only be good.
I'm no KB fan, and have been a bit worried because we lacked a player like Brown. However, its time to look at the positives and when you go through our squad, things really aren't that desperate, it needs complimenting not changing. Even bellend Bellamy didnt live up to the hype last season.
All the moaning is getting boring now, on here, YEP, JA606.... its just getting stupid now.

We are Leeds, and we should all be behind our Team...even if at times not certain aspects of the ownership! MOT

Snodgrass 23 on fire atm, breaking onto international stage
Gradel 23 on fire, wanted by several prem teams
Somma 25 broken into international football, has obvious talent

Theres tonnes more players that are excellent at a younger age, 34 is a joke. Elland road shd b rernamed yorkshires care home arena

Brown will pick up more cards than Grayson picks up his awful pre match interviews scripts

So we sign one 34 year old and suddenly we're a team of geriatrics? A more experienced player is what we needed! And it's a myth that Brown gets loads of cards, look at the actual facts and figures.

He doesn't seem to understand the word "balance". Apparently we should be playing with 10 22 year old attackers who all cost £4m.... And maybe a goalie, but none that we get because he'll claim they're ****.

Even with our 3 oldest players in the starting 11,Brown,Kisnorbo & O'Brien, the average age is just 26-hardly geriatric.

I think we will sign more.....

If your looking for younger players...... the question has been answered above...Gradel,Lees,snoddy,Clayton,White,Parker.
We have an average age of 26/27...

The key is getting the balance right...a mix of youth and experience all our best sides had that.
We needed Brown....a bitter in the middle of the park....
A reserve keeper not a big issue and good cover...

Lets see what happens in the next few weeks.....

I still think Sanchez will be back this season.. but if your expecting us to spend a few Million forget it....

    Wrong Club...this decade anyway.....

im really excited about how our squad is shaping, if by all accounts smith is on his way we will have just about the best midfield in this league. even if smith and brown only play half a season each, both will pick up bookings and knocks for the type of role they play, so I guess one will be cover for the other. Ive a sneaky feeling the stockdale loan is done too. MOT
