I have just had an idea and so wanted to run it by everyone to see what you think. I like to do a yankee of a saturday as there are usually a good selection of decent races and unlike the weekdays when i will be likely to bet on one or two horses at most each day, of a Saturday i will most likely be placing 5 or 6 bets and so usually put 4 in a yankee to have a chance of a jackpot. I am sure it does not really pay long term but i have had half a dozen very serious paydays through getting 4 winners. Anyway we have some seriously good tipsters on here as is proved most days and what i am proposing is that of a Saturday or during the festivals we have an official 606 yankee. I will ask anyone who is interested to name their best two selections of the day on the thread and at around midday i will go through the thread and select from the horses with the most mentions 4 that will form the 606 yankee. It can obviously be followed just for fun or we can all back it to our personal stake, and wether it be backed to a 10p stake at a cost of £1.10 or a £10 stake costing £110 we will all be sharing in the fortunes of our collective tipping resources. Just some fun really but what does everyone think ? If a positive response is given i will start it at the first day of the Newmarket July meeting this week.
Yeah that seems to be a good idea... May as well get the collective brains together on the forum and put them to good use... Counts me out then...
