    606 closure date annouced.
    "The 606 website will shut down on 26th May 2011 - the shut down came about in order to focus audience's attention interactivity by capturing the conversation around the biggest sports stories and events via different mediums. We would like to thank the current 606 users for all their posts and comments over the years. It is worth stressing that the 606 radio show on 5 Live will continue - and we are considering ways for the audience to interact with 606 on the 5 Live website, focused around the radio programme. "

    Funny how 606, which (like BBC Sport in general) is biased towards Liverpool FC, is shutting at the end of the season in which LFC will probably lose their position as England's most successful team <whistle>
