This seems quite realistic 4 losses, 5 Wins 2 Draws. Would see us with 52 points and it COULD keep us up?

 

11 games, we hardly ever draw, so on our current form yes we could win half of these matches giving us 50 / 53 points, and just missing out on the play-offs!

 

W might creep into 6th if we win every game

If we beat wolves then we can afford to lose one of the games we drew? So we could lose to Bolton

 

Last season we got 15 points from 33 this we will need 17

 

I think a lot of people are taking the home game with Middlesbrough too lightly.

Yes they've had a blip recently, but this game is by no means a home banker, and they are still chasing a play off spot. Our recent home form has been good, but let's not get too cocky.

Agree that we have to beat Wolves at any cost. They were a poor side before Saunders took over (even though they made us look like a bunch of amateurs when they won 4-1 down here) and they've not improved since.

I have done all kind of permutations on the BBC predictor, but it always comes out and says that 52 points is safe, 51 points is not. The other teams like POSH and Huddes and Barnsley and Wolves all cancel themselves out. On one prediction I even had Derby dropping into the relegation zone, as they had to play many of our rivals.

It is in our hands. 17 points from 11 games. Its going to be a thriller.

 

You'll find you are like me mate I was so confident of us staying up last season I put a bet on for everyone on here and Bristol rovers fans too see Which I was later took up on by Captain Jack Sparrow, Who was going to "organise" it if we went down, It was if city go down I will eat **** in a rovers shirt at there ground during one of there games! I just feel that we will do better at home based on the last 4 games the players now believe that they can win at the Gate and I think that if the crowd stays behind the team we will do much better.
