How the hell is Terry still in his job? Putting points aside, we look like the poorest City side I have ever witnessed. We've had some awful teams down the years, but this one lacks a genuine leader, experience, sporting nous, organisation and ability to adapt to the oppositions tactics. Most of these players were brought here based on Terrys recommendation. Come on City, display some bottle in the last 3 matches, and we just might achieve a miracle and stay up, either way Terrys ship is holed and just about under water! Yes I appreciate that The Allams have done us no favours, but at present I'm going to make zero attempt to cover up Terrys apparent glaring inefficiencies, his players, his formation, his tactics, his inability to change the downward spiral, his decision to work with the muppets we have in charge I'm all for financial stability, but at what cost pardon the pun!
McCann should have been fired and replaced back in March. Whats odd is Ehab sacked both Phelan & Slutsky when it was needed, they were both going to take us down. Silva almost saved us & Adkins did. So whats happened this season? All I can think is that he genuinely doesnt care if we go down, his actions, or lack of, prove it for me.
I wonder if McCann was on the verge of being hooked when the league was suspended, and at that point Ehab became obsessed with furloughing all his staff and realised he would save money if he let his contract run down. Might explain McCann's not entirely bothered demeanour.
The recent interview threw up up a couple of snippets. Firstly the players are due a 50% pay cut for relegation. Secondly, Ehab made a point of Bolton's demise. The exact quote is gone, but something along the lines of, they celebrated a goal that kept them in the championship, but it it was the worst thing that could have happened to them financially. The wages in the championship tipped Bolton into financial cacka. We have a fair few quid to come from the Bowen et al transfers. Those pennies will sustain a 50% slashed wage bill longer if we drop a league. IF, this the lads new master stroke, he seems to have overlooked the fact that clubs in league 1& 2 are dependent on match day revenue, which in the right here and now is fook all. Edit - Hey, Burnsey, if you are reading this, how come that one slipped you by??
Derby got 6 points out of 90 the season they ended up with 11 points - we've a long way to go before we're as **** as Derby
