6 of the next 7 games are against teams from Aston Villa downwards in the league.

Next 2 home games massive, WBA and Swansea. Would make Wembley even more enjoyable if we could win those two.

agreed, though it would have been nice to pick a point or two up out of the last 2 home games. It cranks the pressure up a bit, but not as much as the pressure on those below.

    Agreed.

Hope we're safe before the last 5 days of the season when we play Man.Utd and Everton.

We need to get something next weekend but I am quite confident that we can do so. Our home form has slid since Christmas due to us playing top half teams and apart from Palace we've managed to get something from our winnable home games.

    Winnable games left

    West Brom (h)
    West Ham (a)
    Stoke (a)
    Swansea (h)
    Fulham (a)
    Aston Villa (a)

2 wins and 2 draws from those should see us safe. We could of course get something from the 'harder' games and drop points in the above games.

Might be largely true, but Newcastle really aren't that amazing and we lost to them.

Its a crucial period starting next week which is massive because after todays results its getting very tight at the bottom. If Sunderland happened to win one of there two games in hand then there would be five teams including us within two points off the bottom three

The bottom three are 3 points adrift after today's games. I think it's the first time the gap's been that big - might be wrong.

Next week Sunderland are away to Norwich, Cardiff home to Liverpool and Fulham away to Man City.
Let's hope that gap opens up as it will drain the self-belief of their players.

Could do with that being a draw.

I imagine the Norwich fans are well pissed off by how they've ended up with those last four fixtures. Not only are they very tough but it puts added pressure on them to win the preceding four.
