First of all I must admit I think we have been playing some great football this season, when things have gone our way we have had some great results.

We have also dominated some of the games we have lost, just not getting the rub of the green at times.

My problem is when our game plan is obviously not working there is no plan B. After losing three goals to defensive errors and passing errors the manager was still abusing the keeper when he elected to kick it long. I think in games like this when things arent quite going our way we need to play our football further up the park. We were so deep that if a pass wasnt perfect then its going to put a forward in. No ofense to Caley today their strikers were on top form and team played not to bad either.

Hopefully this acts as the catalyst to Kenny Shiels to just push the team up the park a bit and try play our football at least nearer the oppositions half!

Cant remember even watching Killie scoring 6 goals in two games and only having one point to show for it. (albeit the Hearts game was in between last week)

The problem of the lack of a plan B is my only gripe too Stu.I have no desire to go back to the kick and rush days of the chuckle brothers but surely KS can come up with an alternative to that that was seemingly employed yesterday ie play Sissoko as a target man then DONT play the ball to him and as you say deride the goalie for kicking the ball long.

Mr Butcher has now discovered the key to stop Kiliie playing "our style" of football. They play high up the pitch and man mark our midfield which cuts off our normal service to the front. If other managers copy this we will have problems scoring enough goals to achieve our goal of a top six place and perhaps get dragged into a relegation fight again.

I hope this result was only a minor glitch and KS discovers a plan B and utilize's the talents of Silva/Deyton which worked so well previously.

Just remember our woes this time aren't as bad as the JJ era and theires always the scum to laugh at.I recommend you to read the A&rshire Post's sport pages and the VOR column, you've heard of the "wee man" syndrome this is classic "wee team " syndrome

    bring on Hampden!!

Yeah thats why I tried to start saying the team are playing proper football and it is great at times. Rangers did it last season to us but fortunately noone else seemed to cotton on. Hopefully our movement wont allow them to in future games. I just think that we should only play the short pass when its on to an unmarked man!! Maybe a sign of the confidence in the team that they try the world cup winner ball to a marked man!!

Hi. I was reduced to following the match on "Open All Mikes" on BBC Radio yesterday and what a plucking shambles that is. My main point of reference is the home match versus St. Johnstone when our "pass from the back at all times" approach cost us 2 points. I have said from day one that if we want to see attractive football or a passing game then we are going to have to accept losing goals at times, however there is nothing wrong with a defender putting your foot thru the ball when under pressure. I didn't dwell on the Saints match too much when a Sissoko mistake cost us, but hearing that KS was berating the goalie yesterday for going long is scary.

We do need a plan B as mentioned above and IMO we have alternatives with the current personelle. If a team like ICT yesterday play high up the pitch then go long over the top and use the speed and strength of Heffernando. Silva, Dayton & Shiels are no slouches either. Strangely these tactics won us the home match with Hibs when they pressed second half. Still they really are **** and Calderwood can't have long left there.
