6 days untill july

Can't wait to see who Mark brings in. This is even better than last year. At least we know that there is money to be spent and that is a plan this time. I cant believe how heart breaking last year was. And who needs England any way.

 

Rumour mill will start working overtime again after week or so because of the Euros.

Hopefully now that we have our free/out of contract, experienced players in place we will be looking for younger players.

One off-the radar, dynamic, surprise signing will give us all a big boost. (Not a prediction, just a sneeky suspicion and a lot of hope.)

Couldn't we sign up a few referees like Man Utd?

I know they are older, but still very useful.

Maybe Tony could use his "connections".

I'm hoping it's 6 days until Diakite transfer confirmed.

 

All the supposed ITK's that I follow on Twitter are all saying that Diakite is done, I bloody hope so.

I follow one guy who collects all the ITK's messages of what's going on, unlike our beloved Cerny he knows to show caution and explain that it's just what he's heard from people who supposedly do know something.

He sent me a message today saying that Konchelski will be joining, but all of these experienced players on free transfers are to keep the transfer kitty for one or two big stars. Apparently Adam Johnson is top of his list. Now if we signed Adam Johnson, I would wet my pants on a daily basis with excitement, but I just can't see that we could sign him.

But one thing is for sure, I can't wait for the end of August so we can stop all the speculating.

 

I always thought Adam Johnston or Hoilett would be perfect for us and us them. Back to the motivation of some pros today. Why warm the bench at City when you could play every week for us. I know...but how much money do you need?

 

I feel the same way (only drier). Excellent player and criminally underused by City.
