    Quick question here guys,

    If Man City win the FA Cup, will the 6th spot prem team qualify for europe?

    If Stoke win the FA Cup, will 6th spot gain sod all?

    Have Stoke gained qualification to europe by just participating in a final?

    Cheers.

    Man United = Champs League
    Chelsea = Champs League
    Arsenal = Champs League
    Man City = Champs League

    Birmingham = Europa League
    Stoke = Europa League
    5th place = Europa League

    And finally

    POSSIBLY, fair play league toppers = Europa League.

    If I'm not mistaken the only way to qualify for Europa League is finishing 5th, winning the FA cup, winning the League Cup and topping the PL Fair Play League if ever the PL is amongst the top 3 of the European Fair Play League.

    Now if the winner of the FA Cup has already qualified for a European competition via another way then the spot is passed on to the losing FA Cup finalist and if the FA Cup finalist has qualified for Europe then the spot is passed on to the 6th highest finishing team.

    The difference between the League Cup and the FA Cup is that the Europa spot of the League Cup is passed on directly to the PL instead of the finalist.

    Also if the winner of the Europa League cannot qualify by the normal means, then it is granted a spot by the UEFA to defend it's title.
