I agree Jager. We'll get some good results and pick up points that we didn't expect and vice versa. It's going to be tough but I saw enough to today and last Monday to make me believe we'll stay up.

An established premiership side had 41% and scored FA as well. Simples!!! Lot of positives to take out of our first 2 games. Bring on the rest of them.
Not really true at all. 59% possession in matches means we will pick up lots of points. 41% possession means we'll get less points over the season. FFS, we've only played two matches. What are you expecting - a 2-0 win away to Man City and 5-0 at home to Wigan? In this particular game, 59% possession means we got one point instead of no points. Get some perspective. And have some patience. There are still 36 games to go.
Casual totally agree. as long as we have the ball the more confident our players will get. the wins and the goals will come.
We were very lucky to get a point.....thanks to vorm....danny has been poor for us up front and is costing us, musty does have a valid point in that we have loads of possession but no end result.....goals win games and not the amount of possession you have.....it does not look good and danny needs to be dropped to the reserves until he finds his form (if ever) and starts to put away the type of chances he had yesterday......just 36 games left with 18 at home and that is not a lot of games to get enough points without scoring......it was 2 points lost that we cannot afford lose against the type of sides that we have targeted to win at home....
Dai, How can you say he needs to be dropped to the reserves after two games? an dropping to the reserves would mean that he is not even on the bench, come on get real, we are not going to spend £3.5m on a player to be in the reserves, he will get game time all through the season.
It is incredible. 2 games no goals and he needs to be dropped. That didnt take long. both games he has put a shift in for us, the goals will come for him. Jesus lets give the guy a chance.
Danny is a new player when he gets use to our style of play he will score. no need to run him down have to get use to the standard of the prem like the rest of the players. so your saying sinclair should be dropped as he missed a header that should of gone in aswell then? dyer for first goal
what shift has danny put in ???? all i see him do is miss basic opportunities in front of goal. we dont have time to mess about waiting to see if he is another jase the ace or not, he needs to be dropped to the reserves where the standard is good and there will be no pressure on him. once he gets a bit of confidence bring him back in the fold but until then we have other options to try rather than play a player who looks lost and just a spectator. So far with two games under our belt the MOM has gone to our goalkeeper twice and the worse rating for both games has gone to danny and that is not good. just two games i hear you say.....well two becomes three and then four and he still not producing the goods and all the time our rivals are pulling away and scoring goals, we dont have the luxury in the premiership to mess about because if you do then we will be left behind playing catch up and could very easily do a derby......18 home games left and when you take out the top 6 or 7 teams then that leaves us 11 or 12 home games that even if we win them all which we wont will give us just 36pts.......... time is something we do not have...
what about Torres when he joined chelsea? he didnt score in 9 or so games and they kept playing him. he wasnt dropped to the reserves you dont buy players to play in your reserves.
ermmmm you cant be serious comparing Chelsea with all their superstars to our small team..surely not ..
