Wow that is some progress,just shows what can be done. Bristol has no competition,the sky is the limit. That is some going.
They should have left the Olympic stadium at its 80,000 capacity, so much wasted time and money spent on slightly converting it
Don't think it had a roof when it was first built, plus the slope of the stands wasn't angled for a decent view. They've also had to build in foldaway front tier so when it's used for athletics.
Huge cost of the project and the stadium still is crap for the fans. The upper tier is an absolute mile away from the pitch! Having said that, West Ham are getting a stupidly good deal out of it.
£242m has been spent on the stadium to make it fit for Premiership football. West Hams contribution to that vast sum of money has been just £15m and they are paying £2m a year in rent to the council. Something very fishy about the whole business.
