Doesn't look right for Chelsea at all. Doesn't look interested what so ever, no passion, no charisma, just waits next to the oppositions back four waiting for a long ball.

I know he's only had a few weeks to get to know the team and get himself to grips with his new team mates, but he looks awful.

Look how quick Suarez is making an impression at Liverpool. Full of energy, full of juice and could have scored 3 in his first 2 games.

£50mil is understandable in todays market, but only for an on form player who is genuinely class. Torres has looked very average for a while now, clinging onto the image of what he once was, with an occasional piece of skill or decent goal to make sure the pundits and managers still think of him as class. Such a seemingly obvious choice by Ancelotti (bought because he is a big name, failing to take into account how bad he has been), he'll never repay that fee.

He just doesn't look like he fits in with Chelsea's system. He had some chances tonight that he should have took, he just needs to score and regain his confidence a guess.

 

Agree, he was so isolated playing for Liverpool, and now has 2 wide players very high up the field to support him. Maybe be isnt used to it and wonders if he ha options rather than taking the chance for himself like he would have at Liverpool.

 

New team, new team mates, new manager, new tactics. He'll just need a little time to settle in.

 

Really hope he settles in quickly and rediscovers his form. I always rated him as a player obviously, but never liked him when he was at Liverpool.

Maybe it just be being bias against scousers, but I like Torres now he's in a blue shirt.

 

Likewise, I used to like Carroll when he was here but I don't like him now that he's at Liverpool.

 

That Luiz on the other hand i thought was tip-top like... granted it was against Fulham but he was fantastic going forward as well as defending, "penalty" mistake aside - plus he looks like a mini Coloccini, which is always a bonus!

 

Gerrard - hate him as a Liverpool player, like him as an England player.
