    Most of the players were decent, they were just getting old together at the same time and the squad hadn't been refreshed.

    So, not only did he wave his magic wand and somehow coerce another league title out of them, he was also managing the purse strings for the Glazers and not adding to the huge burden of debt they'd laid onto the club.
