But Arsenal are the only top team there, having said that not a bad start at all.. need to remember referee's team and not to get complacent..
i thought our performance against Newcastle was fantastic especially seen as we hadnt beaten them since 07 at home so id say the Newcastle game was a test Stoke tough too as there A game is park the bus and play for a drew (which almost worked).
agree with you.. NewCastle and Stoke were thorn in our backside for the past few seasons.. even Wigan to some extent.. So I agree partially that we are up and running - but don't want to put too much pressure on the boys yet..
Wigan = Form team and had only lost 2 times in last 11 fixtures inc wins at Anfield, Emirates and v United. Reading = Newly promoted team and Championship Winners Newcastle = 5th placed last season, quality side QPR = Away fixture right after an international break, never easy. Stoke = Unbeaten having played the likes of City and Arsenal Arsenal = Unbeaten. Away game. Derby. I don't see how any of our games have been "easy". At the end of the day positions are won and lost on how you do in these games, not how you do v United and City, those games take care of themselves.
Absolutely fantastic start while we are still discovering our best team and waiting for all our new players to come up to speed. Was always going to take half a season, we are ahead of schedule, yet there is a hell of a lot of improvement to come.
We've got options as well, something we didn't have last season nor the one before. Competition for places, every player bar Torres knowing they aren't guaranteed to start
I'm well pleased, and a win at Arsenal is as good a test as any...I remember a scouters saying that Torres only ever scores for us when the game is already decided... Not so!
