    1. Ryan Taylors cross for the goal was with his LEFT foot. So he can use it when needed.
    2. HBA is jumping tackles....( not sure if bones mend stronger after breakages) but he needs to get back on the bike asap as we soon play some tough old teams ( on the positive he did a couple of showboating skills which nearly came off and tells me his old flair will return)
    3. Saylors absence with his broken nose will show us what options we really have in defence
    4. Obertan cannot possibly start until he learns to cross/shoot/play positively. Continually plays ball back His ONLY skill is his pace as super-sub against weary legs beckons.
    5. Pardew not afraid to use subs early to change a game.

    1. Agreed
    2. It is natural for bad injury victims to be a bit nervous about players tackling them, will improve on that
    3. Think he will be back for Stoke
    4. Agreed. Get Marveaux in
    5. Agreed. Hopefully we won't need to make subs that early all the time though

I'm not sure whether we should play HBA for the Stoke game :/

Agree, I doubt Saylor will miss any games though.

I'm not too fussed, they play hoofball, but they havent really got dirty players have they? Like no Cattermoles/deJong/Henry esque. Shawcross is sometimes dangerous but not malicious I dont think.

this, Saylor didnt come off the pitch with the fresh injury, what makes you think he's going to let it rule him out after a weeks worth of healing

I think if we're to start Marveaux it should be in a 5 man midfield, I dont think he'd track back particularly well and would be on the "wrong" side.

Looks like Best's getting dropped as well, looked off form recently and Ben Arfa breathing down his neck.

I thought Best played well yesterday (missed chance aside, but then Ba missed a good one too), and with Ba liking to drop deep, he'd maybe lead the line a bit better in front of HBA (although i think Ba is the better striker overall)
