    They've just had a video on Soccer AM, he picked five players to watch out for next summer.

    5. Schweinsteiger
    4. Gerrard
    3. Rooney
    2. Xavi
    1. Ronaldo

    No doubting his football ability, but surely there are two glaring lame ducks in there. Gerrard has either been injured, or playing **** for well over a year now, and has never reached the heights for England that he has for Liverpool in the past. And Rooney will miss at least half the tournament as he doesn't deserve for his ban to be overturned.

    His predictions are a little obvious to say the least, any suggestions for players that are going to burst onto the world stage next summer?

    Didn't take him long to pick those out, the first names that would come out of a lot of peoples mouths.

    Gerrard and Rooney are stupid suggestions though, neither will even play for much of the tournament and England wont get past the quarters IMO.

    Germany are a lot of people's favourite for the Euros though, Ozil and Muller are two more who I expect to do very well this summer.

    <ok>

    On an unrelated note, has anyone else notice his barely contained hatred for Messi. I think he feels his goalscoring record (which he achieved in pants leagues) is under threat

    This!

    I don't understand Pele's decisions...Bar Rooney ('cause he won't be on the pitch and we'll be looking for him in the stands) none of these players have anything to prove OR are at the wrong end of their careers. Give us a few names that will surprise us Pele...Poor effort son, poor effort!

    I played six aside against a team of German exchange students last week, one of them was in the same year at school as him.

    Cabaye (not being too biased) is becoming a key figure in the French team, might become a lot more high profile after summer.
