5 in a row, you heard it here first: I'm really confident that from the start of the West Ham game to the end of the Liverpool game we'll play 5 Premiership games in a row. Seriously though, it's amazing what a couple of results do. You start looking at games and thinking you may not get thrashed. Wont last long so lets enjoy it today!
We've competed well in every game I think. I didn't see any of the Huddersfield game, however, although there was only a goal in it. I just think most games we play this season will be close - some we'll lose and some we'll grind out draws and wins. There's certainly no need to think we can't get the required points to stay up at this point. Rafa has the team well organised and working hard. I'd settle for another win and a couple of draws from the next 3.
Never quite as simple as that in football. I'd be happy if we can just continue picking up points. I think Liverpool will prove a handful for us. Brighton away will be tough too. Stoke are hit and miss as they showed on Saturday. If we could pick up 4 points I think that would be a good return.
Can't see us beating Stoke, they're a seasoned Prem mid-table team now, and look significantly ahead of us in terms of their squad. Brighton we should beat, and anything less than 3 points I'll be disappointed with, we're in real trouble if we don't pick up points against teams like that. Liverpool we always seem to do well against in recent times, so who knows. At the end of the day we've beaten 2 poor teams; West Ham were terrible, and Swansea weren't that good; Renato Sanches looking like a big name signing who's going to fail in the Prem, and Bony and Abraham hardly a threat up front.
Mate none of the players in that picture are still at the clubs and only one of the teams is even in that league any more. Bonus point for knowing which one.
