    Other teams seem to be strengthening today and we are not. If we don't hear any news in the next 3hrs I am expecting a last min panic for Carlton Cole!!

    Newcastle seem to be able to keep things quiet so we could be agreeing a deal now, you just never know. I am getting more and more nervous as time goes by.

    Who else is strengthening? Arsenal got a few in but nothing earth shattering and Stoke have got Cameron Jerome, as much as Sky don't like to say it this is a rubbish deadline day.

    So far today I've baked some cinnamon and apple muffins. I then made Mexican rice and vegetable enchiladas for dinner tonight. Been drinking beers since 3pm, contemplated mowing the lawn but opted not to as I couldn't have an internet connection with me as I cut the grass. I've been chain smoking and even ate old quiche so I didn't have to head down to the shop to get lunch.

    I've only written three of five documents for work today even though I managed to get miniOT picked up by her gran to give me peace and quiet so I could focus.

    If we don't sign a striker tonight then I'll feel that all my efforts to nullify my building anticipation have all been for nothing.

    Llambarse will be under orders to buy as cheap as possible which means we aint gonna get a quality striker in

    Maybe, but still not gone through. I honestly think, striker or not, we've got a pretty decent squad compared to those midtable clubs like Villa and Everton. Plus unlike Everton for once we're not ****ting it that someones going to nick someone of us last minute. I'd love a new forward, but if not I'm happy to let Ba, Best and Shola(!) battle it out in front of our super midfield and comparatively strong back line.
