    I have to say 5-1 because I was right next to the mackems! The 4-1 wasn't a bad result though!!

    The 5-1 any day. Sunderland were already down and out when we beat them 4-1 and although it was a mint game, class result and Shearer's last game for the toon, the 5-1 outshines it on a different level.

    The sheer volume of harrassment and smug mackem wind-ups throughout our ccc season and leading up to the derby was cringeworthy and to humiliate them like that, after the shoe was supposed to be on the other foot, was amazing. Totally blew everyone away. The 5-1 was as big a contrast in teams you could ever wish to see, we played brilliantly while the mackems completely bottled it and fell apart. Super Shola, the Geordie hero and mackem destroyer bagged a brace and Wor Kev Nolan got himself a fine hat-trick.

    Blinding stuff!
