Which derby win over the mackems did you enjoy the most?

1-4 :
-1-0 down 4-1 up

-Shearer's last goal

-Laughing at their confirmed relegation

-Their groundsman making a fool out of himself : At half-time he was replacing divots on the pitch and checking the nets behind the goal were secure but as we were all behind that goal he couldn't resist making a 1-0 gesture.

After we humped them 4-1 he had to come back out and was collecting the corner flags while everyone was singing "you're just a sad Mackem bastard".

He threw a proper hissy fit and slammed the corner flags down on the pitch.

He started walking towards the tunnel and took his 5under1and coat off and threw it on the pitch.

One of the other stewards who saw him ran over and put an arm round him but he started shoving him off.

Eventually he started walking back down to pick the corner flagsup but the bloke (who put an arm round him) shouted him back and told him to pick his coat up and put it back on.

So everyone behind the goal was cheering and howling while singing "you're getting sacked in the morning"

So if you had to pick , which one is your favourite?

After some serious thinking I have to say I enjoyed the 5-1 more , simply for the reasons stated above.

Although both were amazing, it has to be 5-1 for me.
I will never forget either of them.

 

Got be 5-1, as they were a lot worse than us when we beat them 4-1, where as now there's not a lot between the two teams.

 

I voted. Dunno why.

Gotta be the 5-1, even though both were great, this one was even more special.

 

5-1 game. Before the game I was interviewed by Sky and was asked my favourite derby moment. I said the Emre free kick but it was a toss up between that and Shearer's penalty.

 

the look on Tit-us's ever suprised face was epic when he got sent of. 5-1 was the best for me as i genuinly thought we were gona lose twice to 'em this season

I have to say the 5-1 after all the abuse we got beforehand. The 4-1 wasn't even a game of football, they were ****ing ****, we played for 7 minutes and scored 3 goals, even managed to grab one more. Was a cracking day, we'll meet again was brilliant. 'Your even worse than the last time'.

 

I should have made that clear, sorry. I wasn't chosen, both myself and my brother got asked the question and had to speak down the camera but neither of us were shown on the programme.

However, when the camera goes to Niall Quinn walking up the stairs, my mate is standing there wearing a scarf and this years home kit, standing next to my 11 year old brother. Look out for that Apparently the camera just catches my top and not my face.

Was a very difficult choice. But had to go for the 5-1 in the end for reasons everyone else has listed.

Just watching the start of the 5-1 now. They are showing the league table, Chelsea were 5 points clear at one stage!!

They are bigging up Sunderland at the moment.
