5,000 Tigers travelling to Oakwell this weekend to see us inevitably promoted. Where was all of them earlier in the season? Get relegated and 10,000 of them piss off from the home games, from taking 4,000 every away game to around 1,000 now, 5 ****ING THOUSAND have suddenly popped up in a matter of a few weeks? Pisses me off, just like i bet we'd end up with 40,000 of the ****s at Wembley if we had to go and 200,000 for celebrations in the city centre again. Feckin' glory hunters
Yeah bastards. I'd rather see the KC half empty, and just the proper fans from the buses who make the effort to go to every game at all our away games, and we'd send a powerful message to the FA is only the bus flaskers turned up at Wembley. Plastics all of them and we'd be better off without any support.
How do you know we'll have more? Barnsley made it All Ticket for their fans and SYP won't let us have 1,500 more tickets just like they refused a 5.20pm televised KO. Anyone who can find a magic spell to bring the Boothferry atmosphere into the KC can have a gold star
Im guessing he knows by virtue of the fact we've sold 5500 tickets and are expecting another 700...just a wild guess that mind.
Yes, let's go back to the good old days. 4,000 true fans in a crumbling stadium watching yet another defeat. Were you at the Southend game in 1981? Anyone who wasn't is a part timer, a glory hunter or a newbie. We can all play the I'm a better fan than you game. Supporters have to start somewhere.

5500 tickets sold out by yesterday and stories of another 700 tickets being made available soon. Any more would be greedy ? But the empty seats situation needs addressing in the summer. If i were Barnsley any loss of revenue should be deducted from the Police bill for the game. The fuzz need to get a grip ffs.
posts like this are a ****ing joke. the extra gate receipts kinda come in handy, if it makes you feel like you are better than everyone else and a bigger fan.... GO RIGHT AHEAD
Yeah they must lose so much money thanks to their local plod! I think it's the same anywhere really, we could probably fill part of the North stand but HP won't let us for some stupid reason.
I'm not claiming to be a better fan and it has many positives but theres so many games we could of done with all of these fans behind the team and we could probably be top of the league or already back in the prem! More supporters = More money = better players = hopefully better atmosphere
Absolutely ridiculous argument. Firstly it's not very far to Barnsley, we always travel well there, secondly so the **** what? People want to go to a game when we are doing better? **** me right? I mean get real, do you seriously think if Man United were playing in division 4 that they would sell out old trafford every week.
Surely you are there though the bad times, because you ultimately enjoy it (or it at least makes the good times even better). To be annoyed at 'glory supporters', seems to imply a jealousy, that they are doing it the best way.
With the cost of tickets now, it's not surprising that people only choose to come to games we're more likely to win. £20-£30 is a lot of money really. I don't have anything against those who only turn up during the more successful stages of the Club as long as they actually 'support' the team, not some team such as Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea etc. The glory fans that support top EPL Clubs and then only claim to be a Hull City supporter when they're doing well are the ones who people have something against really.
You watch all the glory hunters go and support the Jags now that they've been promoted back to the SPL. Glasgow derbies are back on
I think the situation is a little different to what he meant though (I think). A team that's punished and sent down the ladder their supporters are still probably going to turn out to roar them back to where they should be. Where as if they got relegated down the leagues to where they are now due to being utterly **** I bet a lot of them would disappear.
When did we ever take 4,000 to every away game? You could probably count the amount of times we've taken over 4,000 fans somewhere in the last 10 years on one hand. Don't talk bollocks.
4K every match???? Where was that exactly? Are you one of those deluded muppets who think City are a big club? Who calls every other team tin pot? And thinks our rightful place is the premier league?
