Haven't been on the forum at all recently so i don't know if this has been mentioned but why did we not play a 451 to try and keep possession as much as possible when our defence was clearly weak to counteract their 442...seemed like the perfect game to play benny and i thought playing ameobi and ba upfront was never really going to work even if they did give us some height at the back
Ben Arfa had a shocker against Chelsea and Shola was our best player vs Chelsea and Pardew likes to pick his side on form and Shola deserved the start after what he did against Chelsea and as much as I like Ben Arfa he did deserve to be dropped.
I think Ben Arfa will return vs Swansea, they are a passing side and don't have a physical edge about them.
thats true i would hope we could get 6 points in the next 2 matches we really need to make sure we dont feel sorry for ourselves because there were positives from yesterday i hear santon looked very good
