Here we go again lads, Kakuta, first goal in Premier League Football, at Sunderland. Having problems scoring? Go to Sunderland, guaranteed a goal there! All jokes aside, we have been the better side. Controlled the pace of the game and had the two best chances on goal. Problem is there is nobody up front. Don't want to be labelled as the voice of doom, but have genuine fears that our season is over. Honestly cannot see where the goals will come from for the rest of the season. Still hopeful of a strong finish but confidence has gone out the window. Looking to Syd, Bill, Roger and the Beak for inspiration. If not, can you at least buy me a pint?
**** it, I'm off to bed. Waste of time watching this bollocks, like I said, it will be a miracle if we score again this season. I don't want to be one of those " my mate says" posters, but I was back home ( from Sydney) a few month ago and caught up with one of my old mans friends, who incidentally was Monty's best mate through the years. This bloke told me that one of the official club masseurs told Bruce face to face that there was something wrong with the training schedule, and it was causing all of the injuries. The week later the massuer had been let go from the clubs employment. I never gave it a thought at the time, but sounds more and more likely as the season rolls on. All I see from here in Aus is that Bruce wants a squad of 23 or 24 players. Looking at our injuries this season ( Gordon, Onouha, Mensah, Turner, Bramble, Richardson, Meyler, Cattermole, Welbeck, Gyan, Noble, Ferdinand, Zendon ) some questions need to be asked. By my count that is 12 out of 24 players injured. Who is responsible? It's sure as **** not a coincidence......
