    "42 Years ago today, QPR drew 0-0 at home to Fulham and their promotion surge (post the sale of Rodney Marsh, when we went undefeated the final 12 games of the season) sadly ended. We had two remaining games (which we won both). But after the Fulham mathematically we were out of the race."

    Cheers Roller. There are some terrific photo's in that fine collection. I didn't realise that Bobby Campbell was our first team coach back in those days.

    nb Also on this day 16 years ago, Jamie Pollack scored that infamous own goal at Man City.
