    The beauty of the slip, wasn't just that he slipped, it was because Gerrard had never won the league, it was his Holy Grail, and only the week before, having taken a commanding place in the title race, Gerrard had said to all his teammates, in a huddle "Right, this is it now, we do not let this slip, you hear me? We do NOT slip!"

    Then the next week he literally slipped and cost them the title <laugh>

    Classic footballing moment <ok>
