Fair comment smithers I reckon Huth must be for the off to continually sacrifice your best defender from CH to 3rd choice or right back ! Seems a strange move to me or simple they have fallen out ! and hes gone !! We av got 25000 people in the stadium that can offer that advise to TP so really WTF is going on .. I don't know what to think or write about todays game. I have not watched it but I never imagined we would lose 5-0 to a Bolton side that had lost all of its previous home games this season. What an embarrassing result. What can Pulis say about this? He can't use Europe as an excuse this time or winge about a seemingly controversial opening goal. The result is a disgrace and unless he changes things we are heading towards relegation. Dispense with Woodgate and Delap, return Huth to the middle and play Palacios.
We were 2-0 up because we took advantage of bad keeping. Your own midfielder tried to pass back to the keeper and the pass was so bad that the keeper thought it wasn't a straight pass and caught it. Then your keeper did a bad clearance straight to Eagles who blasted it in the net from 25 yards out before the keeper could get back. Your own mistakes cost you. Then you had a few chances at 2-0, the best one being that one where Mark Davies had to clear it off the line. After this, we managed to counter-attack and score a third. This goal made Stoke give up, and the game was far too easy to keep control of, despite your 3-at-once subs. We managed to get 5, and could of got a few more had Muamba had been better with his finishing. I think you need to play like you played in the FA cup semi-final, since half the teams in the Premier League are getting defenders who are better in the air than on the ground. Playing on the ground was much better for you when you did it. I said yesterday I hope for a good game. It was a good game if you don't like Stoke or if you're a Bolton fan. Otherwise, it must of been painful.
Bolton 4 Europe lI tuned in and we we're already two goals down... what i did hear was the same old same where Stoke are concerned. We can't pass, we give the ball away far too easily and finally. WELL done to Bolton and THANK YOU for being gracious in Victory I'm sure that we the Stoke fans will get over this, eventually. Let's just HOPE that our player's do that too. As for Tony Pulis, he is slowly but surly KILLING our team which wasn't great by any stretch. But, we did compete as for tonight as a Stoke fan for 50 years.I am EMBARRASED.
