Just a quick question really. Would you take 4 Points if offered now for our next 2 home games? I would probably be greedy and say no such is my new found optimism it would have us sitting on 17 Points from 21 games which I'm sure we would all have taken at the start of the season but I just want to take this league by the scruff of the neck and keep on winning as many games in a row as possible to really show the league that we mean business and aren't here to hang around.
I think we have to try and win every game in this league. Not suggesting we will, or should expect to, but there’s not a team in the league we should settle for a point from. So far has shown that when we play well we are better than anyone, and when we play not so well, well we can still beat anyone.
I'd take 4 points but we should be able to win both. Take every game individually and we should be able to win every game but We can't expect to win every game this season.
I haven't seen any reason so far that we shouldn't keep on winning indefinitely. When we go behind we still win, when we're ahead we tend to extend our lead and fitness levels are very good. I never got used to losing, I seem to have got used to winning pretty quickly but it's based on clear evidence not bias.
Absolutely, it’s not ‘we’re the biggest club’ or ‘we should walk this league’, it’s what we’ve seen so far, it’s a piss poor league and we look too strong for it. It’s not even confidence or cockiness, it’s based on what’s in front of us.
It's an enormous turn around from last season and not one I expected, not this soon anyway, but we've taken to the league like a duck to water and the resilience we've showed when going a goal down suggests that if we do go on a bad run in the league we'll fight back sooner rather than later. In the meantime ten man Wimbledon are beating a premier league team...just saying.
We have a philosophy now. An identity to our play. If we continue to make the right transfers, I can see us continuing to just get better and better regardless of the league we are playing in.
Oxford have put a run together so could be tough, I would rather have played them 2 weeks ago mind. It is all down to putting the ball in the net and to me most other teams can't do it.
