I listned to his radio interview on the way back from my brothers,i do feel sorry for SC. Basically reading between the lines SC was saying the team is not good enough,but he keeps harping on about his players giving their all,and they are his players. How can i talk about players coming in to take their places. Well Steve the problem is apart from Korry Smith and possibly kojak the rest is not good enough for the championship. My wife summed his interview up,he seems to soft. I think the guy has been handed a bad deal by his employers,i am amazed he has stayed around,the board and owner have a big problem because as it stands they are returning to the league below without a fight. This window SL does not have a list,now in any other business you would have been working behind the scenes to have the bricks in place for trying to stay in the championship. Sorry but you can see BCFC as being just a second rate club under this stewardship,would we really be worse off under another owner. I would say not.
Red, do you think that behind the scenes that Cotts IS soft, i think he shows a little bit more of his anger and growl after some of the defeats we've had, not todays, he looked a little beaten to be fair , but in the past. May be the board are, but i dont think he is tbf.

We do have lives outside of football Debate Rodney,did not know the score until 5.15pm as i was busy,SC came on the radio very late hence i was able to listen to him,otherwise would have missed it. i feel sorry for SC as i believe the problem is further up the food chain. However i do not like SC stubborness,regards team set up and substitutes,seems one directional,does not know how to change the side.
Every game his subs make no sense, we were losing 3-0 when he made the first, god knows why he didn't change it at half time, but sadly he does it every game
Sorry ROD but this thread is now justified. It's all well and good being a happy clapper and "supporting the boys" but if it carries on like it is we'll be hoping to win the JPT again next season. I'd now give Cotterill 3 more games to save his job, of which 6 points is a minimum. Anything less then it's cheerio Stevie. No good banging on about winning the league last year and the JPT, when this season has been a pile of ****e. Preston seem to be doing alright without spending hardly anything (in fact a lot less than we did!) I'm getting ****ed off with the excuses he's banging out every game, really starting to piss me off. RR stop banging on about the ****ing owners!!!!!!!!!! Another thing that REALLY REALLY ****s me off "they didn't back him in the summer" THEN WHAT **** GAVE HIM THE 9M TO SPLASH OUT ON GRAY/GAYLE!!! They backed him for **** sake but the deluded idiot went for players bigger than our club. "Nobody from high up speaks out" What the hell do you want them to say????? SERIOUSLY??? They won't say anything negative as that will make our situation even worse and if they say anything positive you will get fans taking the piss, so quite rightly, they say nothing and do their jobs, which isn't public speaking. It's keeping this club afloat. Just be glad we don't have the idiots of Forest, Fulham and Bolton running our clubs who all now have transfer embargo's. I love you Cotterill, you've give this club some great memories, but that's just what they are, memories. We live in the here and now and it has all the signs of 2012 under McInnes and Sean O'Driscoll. So lets learn from our mistakes and either A) back Cotterill HEAVILY and get players in EARLY. Or B) sack him NOW and bring a new manager in with PROVEN championship experience and someone whom is likely to be able to attract a better crop of players. No matter how much it costs because 27k stadium in league 1 is criminal....
**** me, if the guy gets a couple of matches and 1 or 2 good signings come in then we could be on our way and people will be all over him like a rash, Cotts is up there taking it on the chin, where the **** are the three stooges Burt, Dawes and Lansdown jr, licking the bosses ass, passing the buck and then doing a vanishing act, if you are going to hang labels on people tag these three wonders. Cotts is doing the best with what we have got, lets see what develops in January, a promotion Champion 20 weeks ago and now you want to kick a good, honest guy out, madness, get rid of the bastard god squad and let the manager do his job, another 8 weeks minimum with SL's total back up, then act.
I agree with you. I said to a bloke who sits by me on Saturday that his substitutions always piss me off and never uses them till it's too late. I also think the next 2-4 games will decide. My comment was that it's predicable who creates these.
Had to laugh/cry at their 3rd goal today. There's only one Frankie. I'd love SC to stay and get us out of this mess but persevering with Fielding and Williams is madness. Whatever system you play, 3-5-2 4-4-2 etc it doesn't matter - we lack quality. Keeper, a new defender or play Bryan, a midfielder and definitely a striker. They'll have to be loans, no decent player will come here with us staring at relegation to L1.

Shiny panic buys when it was going tits up,yes SL offered ,the funds A,to late,and B apparantly did not offer the wages for Gray,but would for Gayle. Neither wanted to come,why because we were already struggleing. You cannot buy a Bentley and expect it to cost mini costs. The problem started before a ball was even kicked in anger,the whole pre-season was a joke,no major signings to kick us on. That i believe happened at the top. SC started with a squad that clearly has shown it is not adequate for the championship. He keeps harping on about them being kids and still learning,these guys are proffesional footballers being paid good money,the bottom line is they are not good enough for the championship.The fans are not stupid we don't need to be fobbed off with excuse after excuse. Time to stand and be counted,or walk the plank im afraid.
With the next 3 games being Reading away and Preston and Boro at home, it is not going to get better anytime soon. At best we are looking at 3 points here from the Preston game, but we will probably only get 1!!!!
