Before the next break there is 3 games and the 1/4 of a season reached. 33 pts were available and so far we have 5 , just 5 of the 138 available per season.
with 1 win 2 draws and 4 losses it doesn't look good, but we are in the first season and should be looking to
    win 16 .. .. draw 10 .. .. lose 20 and get a minimum of 58 points .... looking at it that way doesn't seem so intimidating.
    Next 3 weeks :-

City games and FIXTURES INVOLVING TEAMS IN current BOTTOM 9

    City v Reading
    Brentford v PNE
    Hudds v Bolton

    Brentford v Sheff
    Ipswich v City

    City v MKD
    Sheff v PNE

Amazingly there is a round robin of 3 of those teams.

    Other awkward matchs
Rotherham v Cardiff and v Burnley
MKD v Leeds and v Derby
    Derby v Brentford
    QPR v Bolton

Forgive my criticism but 5 points are ludicrous and a symptom of our failure to plan.

Put another way, we have played 4 away and 3 at home- The 4 away have yielded a win, a draw and 2 defeats. 4 points from 4 games.

Home form is not good, 0 wins, 1 draw and that was 0-2 after 89 mins and 2 defeats. Home form is what needs to improve.8 goals shipped in 3 games gives a clue.

5 points from 7 games gives an average of 0.71- Times by 46 =33 points. A win tomorrow and its 8 from 8. (46 points). Win the next two home games and even lose at Ipswich would have 11 from 10(1.1 average x46 =50.46).

Improve the home form, the maths work.

Improvements on all counts would work better.
