The loan window closes on the 24th March. Thats right innit? :bandit:
We need to sign some players and quick.

Rickie Lambert is top of my list. Its worth paying his wages in full. We need a focal point. a forward who will hold the ball up and bring players into the game. Who will challenge the CB's and not give them an easy ride.

    Anyone else?

I think we should sign another midfielder for a striking role - it's what any good manager would do isn't it?

Or Remy at Chelsea who can't get a game. There only options are the Championship or continue to sit on the bench or in the stands.

Costa's about to be suspended for the rest of the season so I suspect Remy will get plenty of games.

I think Rickie Lambert would be a great choice for us,we need a big strong striker who is good in the air and brave as our tactic seems to be to pump the ball into the box, our present strikers seem incapable of heading a ball properly and don't look as if they want challenge physically in case they get hurt.

Bit of a stupid comment, he is still playing in the premier league. All I am saying is he would give us a different option upfront.

He's not playing though, so it'd be worth a shout.

We certainly need to be more of a threat from headers and it would be nice to see somebody upfront who could hold the ball up so yes Lambert would be a decent call, we all know its been a problem position all season I was hoping Powell would be the answer but may be I'm asking to much because again he is another midfielder.

Maybe it's time to throw caution to the wind and chuck big Harry up front rather than somebody like Lambert who might need 12 games to get fit at his age, not to mention is very likely on the downgrade

Our striker options are so poor it is beyond belief; especially when you factor in that Steve Bruce acknowledged the importance of getting that position right. Roo knows a striker's arsehole when he sees one, perhaps Bruce needs to get a tad more anal.

I'm certainly amazed BO that he hasn't gone on late in games for his heading and hasn't he got us a couple of penalties with his turning in the box. Peter swann could play at the back and up front

They were trying it out it in training last season so maybe it's not as ridiculous an idea as all that. Also they've already put Clucas up front this year so Bruce is open to trying other things. It won't happen anyway.
