Well it looks like Arsene Wenger thinks we played 4-6-0....

This is from the Sunderland Echo article:

“Sunderland were 100 per cent committed for the whole game,” he said.

“They played with four defenders and six midfielders and never yielded an inch.
“I think they deserve credit for the way they played against us. They made it into a very competitive game.”

    The link is below:

So how is it that opposing managers can see what we can, but Bruce can't?

I think he went with the 4-6-0 formation because it went so well against Brighton.

    Oh wait.......

    we played 4-5-1

I know it was 4-5-1, but even Wenger can see Sess is not a striker...

So with that in mind, and the fact it looks like Sess was more on the wing it was 4-6-0.

If we play Bardsley and O Shea up front on Saturday and Bendtner and Sess at full backs, would you still call it a 4 4 2 formation?

Tecnically we did play 4 5 1 but in reality, we started yet another game this season with no recognised or capable strikers in the team.

Bruce has achieved this twice now in the same season and in my 36 years I've never seen that ever before.

Useless, fat, b&w, clueless ****er of a manager isnt a strong enough feeling in my case.

Wenger is wrong Bruce is wrong and all you lot are wrong it was a 3 7 0 not sure if that makes it worse or not, either way we were beaten after 29 long seconds.

Ooh Bardsley - someone who will die for the cause - be nice to have him back in the side (HOPE he plays next week - Richardson out and Bardsley in for me)
