Hi All,

I very rarely create a post about a horse although I have once this season and I intend to do again... with the same horse.

See this thread for original details.. http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/63545-4-10-Newmarket

The race 4:50 York and the horse EAGLES PEAK advised on début as a horse to back and to follow... he bet Thimaar that day (who actually competes in the 3:05 also at York but needs a lot more here.

Back to Eagle's Peak he travelled extremely well on début indicating that he needs further either way, he tracked Thimaar that day and took the lead 1 furlong out under hands & heels but was pushed out to the line. I've been told he has improved bundles since he's first run and is bouncing at home <badger>

I know the price is short and the one worry I have which probably others share is his inexperience in a field such as this, but those at home feel he could win a G2. Will appreciate a step up in trip and I've had a very decent bet.. it's getting backed and I advise to get on now.

Good Luck whatever you decide to do.. remember not forcing you to back it ;)

Thanks Wildcats, I think Eagles Peak could be the bet of the meeting off of that handicap mark.

Do you know anything of the other Stoute runner Sea Moon earlier on the card? I am tempted to take on Seville as the trainer would not be entering him in this unless he felt he was of the grade and certainly has a fom line with seville through custom house but it is a huge jump in class nevertheless for the horse whilst Seville is dropping down.
