4-5-1 vs 4-4-2 ?

at the end of the 1st half yesterday i was starting to wonder if it would have been better to start 4-5-1 , as we were struggling to control the midfield.

I like us playing 442, but 451 can be useful as well (especially as our most resounding win this season was in that formation) - horses for courses and all that.

Did 442 allow us to win yesterday, or was it due to Catts been left on the bench again?

in all honesty I dont care what formation we play, as long as we play to win in every game.

 

Think playing most of the players in their correct positions was the main reason.

I think that statistics will show that our results are far far better when we play 4-4-2..

that seemed to work very very well with sess just behind the front two!
