Yes Manchester United's 4-1 loss against Manchester City at Etihad is worse than the 1-6 mauling they suffered at Old Trafford. At OT # No Vidic, No Defence # 3 goals conceded in injury time # They were down to 10 men, thanks to hapless Evans # They were not parking their eternal bus against better opposition since they were playing at OT At Etihad # Vidic - They had the Defence, otherwise it would have been cricket score # Game was well over before an hour, and City took the foot of the pedal # They had all 10 men behind the ball and parked their eternal bus with 11 men behind for majority of the time. Hence, this 4-1 is way worse than that 1-6
So who parked the eternal bus when Chelsea came to Old Trafford? we don`t do it here against the better teams remember! We have been beaten before, i think Chelsea have even lost the odd game when a team out-played them. Keep believing, we may just end up behind you this season if you believe hard enough.
Great thread Stanclave, really shows up the bitters for what they truly are. Always going to receive some unwanted plastic wum interest with good honest reporting such as this.
Next he will be telling us how how Chelsea losing to Spurs and being level on points with us is better then beating them
So you can predict the future now? Maybe we will be 6 points clear of you in a week's time, then you'll really be worried....
Heard that somewhere before.......... Oh yeah, you said you would go 6 points clear when you parked the bus at Old Trafford
I 4 - 1 think this United result will go down as the most embarrassingly one sided game of the season. Worrying times. Imagine if they lose to Liverpool tonight as well?
Such a poor tactical showing from Moyes. I have a lot of respect for him, but the City game was embarrassing, albeit probably the expected result. He needs to try and get the best out of that squad, but the poor summer could cost them dear. Still, he'll make his team soon enough.
better squad except for strikers, it would be interesting.. if we have decent strikers, it would be no contest
Agree. If we had Rvp or even Rooney or Hernandez, we would smash it. Surely even Jose cannot win the league with Torres up front? City squad much better balanced that ours
Just wish Nando's contract runs off before he adds more to his distinguished sack collection - Carlo, AvB, Robby.. Can anyone ever match Nando's record, maybe thats for another thread!
